Dear Me,

To start off with, I'm very proud of you! This year hasn't been that great for you! It surely was a rough start... But guess what, you've fought out through it... well surely you couldn't do it all alone!

But two people made it possible for you! One was the person who believed in you regardless of all the crap you talked to them and another was the person who you knew for a year but the last 4 months made them a very important part of your life! Never forget them! They are the real gems of your life!

So there isn't much I could share with you today but I want you to be proud of everything you have gone through, and mostly, what you've become. You still haven't fought with your insecurities well and you probably won't for a while, but that's okay. You've come a long way, and You surely have a long way to go. You've made some mistakes, and you have so many more to make, but for now, stop being so hard on yourself. Everything will make sense soon. All the hurt and frustration will find its meaning. Remember, you had told yourself last year that everything happens for a particular reason. Well, you are in the exact place you are meant to be right now. So breathe, and trust the course of your life. Accept reality as it comes.

Stop stressing over how you look. You're fucking handsome! Okay so, you kinda are healthier than most people around but hey, you could work on it! But remember, you are perfect in every way, especially with your flaws. Accept the fact that you're unique and embrace your insecurities they really aren't worth it in the long run!

Never be sorry for being "too nice," because that's who you are. You care a lot about people and would do anything to help the anyone in need.

Even though you think you are broken, there is so much beauty in your pain. Honestly, you are not broken you are stronger than anything that has tried to tear you down. You are the survivor and not the victim. Don't be hard on yourself, we both know you are trying your best.

Be selfless, not selfish. Love like you never seen pain before. But, make sure there's enough love for yourself. You are Strong. You have been through a lot. Thank your past, for it has made you into a better person today.

I do not know, yet, where you'll end up but I do know that it is going to be a great journey...

Remember what you always lived by "To fall asleep with a dream, and wake up with a purpose!"

Lovingly Yours,

P.S. If you’re ever feeling down or unworthy do read this up! You're Fucking Awesome!

Guess what, we’re already 2 months into the new year and you’re lucky enough to still stuck by the resolution you made on the 1st Jan. Well I may just give you ways on how to break them? Want to give them a try?

1. Blame Your Circumstances

My girlfriend keeps too much junk food at home!” OR “My Mom makes such yummy food that I can’t resist it!” Hey, the people around you didn’t ask you to make your resolutions you made them on your own! No reason should stop you from achieving what you need! When you blame the environment, you are a prisoner of those “things” and will be until those “things” change.

2. Going Too Hard Too Soon

Do you really think you’ll be able to dedicate 4 hours daily to your workouts? It might seem like not challenging yourself, but if you truly want to achieve a resolution, set one that’s easy to tackle from day one, say half an hour of workout daily will make your more productive! And you could always add another 30 minutes to it if you feel like. Success is more achievable when you can scale up to a more difficult resolution and you’ll get the much-needed boost of self-esteem.

3. Listen to That Negative Inner Voice

Hey, you can have that ice-cream, only one won’t affect you!” We all have that little voice inside our head that makes us break resolutions. That Ice-cream may just give you the craving of having another and then your diet’s gone down your belly!

4. New Year… New You!

New Year... New You!” is just a myth! It’s the same you but with hell lot of positive energy and also a hell lot of anxiety of meeting your resolutions! Be the old you, but with a high level of motivation to do something new! People who lose their “motivation”, try to wait for it to come back, but mind you often it never does.

5. Letting Resolutions Govern You

Don’t be too focused on achieving your resolutions that you lose sight on better opportunities, don’t let your resolutions govern you! This will make the changing process less enjoyable and more of a routine. Remember, tweaking or even discontinuing a resolution if we see an even better direction to head in isn’t wrong. Resolutions are meant to inspire us, make us feel more alive!

Let’s face it... Resolutions are actually meant to be broken… Happiness is something that needs to be constant.

To Food...With Love

Dear Food,
I Love You! Sorry for hitting that straight to your face, but who doesn't! I had no idea on how I could just begin this letter! But just want to let you know, I LOVE YOU!

Every day after a hard day working, you've always been there to cheer me up. Just the thought of you gives me butterflies in my stomach! You always smell good, look good and Yum... Taste Good too. Without you, I would have the shittiest life anyone could even imagine. Well probably not, cause I won't have shit! But never mind... When I don't have you around, all I can do is think about you with an open watery mouth.

I don't remember how and when we met, but ever since you've been part of my life, you've never disappointed me! At times of sorrow, you've been there in the form of a large ice cream cup. In happiness, you've been my favorite pasta. When it's movie time you've been popcorn, and during date nights, the amazing things around the candle! I just can't imagine a life without you!

And remember the time you were a pizza! Ahha... What an amazing day that was! And the mornings were just satisfying! *cough* *cough*

You know that I love it when you're all dressed up for me in that sizzling hot Vada Pav! And never stop teasing me in the nooks and corners of Mumbai's streets... How I hate you for that! (You know I love you for that!)

Blueberry Cheesecake

Hey, do you remember, when I had to choose between my (ex)girlfriend and you (that blueberry cheesecake)? You knew it very well I would choose you. I could guess it from all that gestures you made at me! You naughty thing!

I'd like to make a confession before we end! I'd just like to let you know that I've always preferred you when you're nice and warm... The colder and chilled version just "beeps" up my throat!

I know I don't say it to you enough, but I do love you! And I just want thank you for being there. I know I can always count on you. Thank you for making this evil world a better place...

Hugs and Kisses! 😘😘

With Love,

Hector Beverages, the maker that brought in a trunk full of memories, nostalgia and most importantly some refreshing juices under its ethnic Indian beverage brand Paper Boat, has come up with yet another one of my cravings, the Chikki!

When Live Mint asked Neeraj Kakkar, chief executive of Hector Beverages Pvt. Ltd. about the reason behind choosing a Chikki over any other food product to enter the snack category, he says, "Our overall thesis is that we are protectors of traditional recipes. We intend to keep launching old, traditional recipes in contemporary packing. We did this first on the drinks side because of our background in beverages."

"So chikki is the first snack we are launching and are contemporizing it", he adds.

So, what's a chikki you ask? Chikki is the perfect concoction of peanuts and jaggery, made to make crisp, crunchy and sweet. And the Paper Boat Chikki provides the same desi taste of the chikki you'd probably get from Lonavala's Maganlal Chikki! To top it all, the authentic taste of chikki hasn’t been tampered at all.

And worry not, all this is available for just Rs 10! For this price, you get a Chikki slab smaller than a smartphone.

I've got one more good news, coming summer, we may soon get a taste of Paper Boat Aam Papad 😋
